Slate Dry Stone Walling

SKU: S4501SL

Real Sawn Face Slate Building Blocks / Dry Stone Walling

Suitable for use in most scales but specifically designed for 1:12th Scale Dolls House modelling and 1:19th Garden Railway Models

We sell a Modelling Tool in our shop which cuts this Slate beautifully, you simply position the jaws over the Slate and squeeze down hard on the handles to chop the slate to different lengths, leaving a lovely natural rough edge.

This new product is made from Real Slate as used to build Hundreds of Garden Walls, Cottages, Stations, Signal Boxes, Station Platforms, Outhouses and Field & Village Walls across the country!!

Simply stick the slate together using our PVA glue and build Garden Walls, Fireplaces, Village Walls, Station Houses, Platforms, steps etc in minutes!!! your imaginations your limit, just look around you and you'll see just how much was built from Slate in areas where Slate was locally quarried such as Wales, and what's more its natural and looks fantastic.

Each Slate piece varies in height from 1-7mm, all the slate pieces are 20mm wide and average approximately 40mm in length, with the odd longer and shorter piece just like a miniature version of the Real Sawn Slate Walling, much of the slate is chipped and uneven which adds to that beautiful natural look to your walling that you just can't achieve without using Real Slate. All the slate is tumbled to give you the finished worn slate walling you see in the photo.....

Because its the Real Slate you just won't beat it and you can sand or stain it easily to distress and weather it even more.
