Versi Lead
 


Versi-Lead For Flat Roofs Contents 1 x Sheet Versi-Lead,  Battens , UHU & Instructions for use 
 
This is the brilliant alternative to Real Lead for flat roofs for dolls houses. Perfect to use with our Versi Slate. It is also safe for Children to touch as it isn't real lead. The battens are the same colour as the the Versi Lead sheet, so all you need to do is stick them on with the UHU provided.
 
Instructions for use..
 
Make sure your Versi-Lead is laid out with the outside face facing upwards i.e. so it curls downwards when unrolled, as this makes it easier to lay. Measure your roof and carefully cut your Versi-Lead sheet to fit your roof. 
 
Using the UHU supplied cover the whole of the wood of your roof with UHU Lay the Versi-Lead carefully on your roof working from one end to the other smoothing as you go. Check the Versi-Lead is perfectly smooth without any air bubbles. 
 
Place heavy books or similar on top of the Versi-Lead and allow to dry for approx 12 hours. 
 
Laying the Versi-Lead Battens 
 
First carefully cut your battens to the width of your roof with a sharp craft knife. (remember all the battens will be laid vertically) 
 
Apply the UHU in a thin line to the underside of the batten you are sticking. Stick 2 battens down, one each end of the Versi-Lead, flush with the edge of your roof. Now measure your roof to fit all the other battens an even distance apart (as a guide this is approximately 5cms (2 inches) apart). Then mark or draw lines where you wish to place your battens. Simply stick your battens using a thin line of the UHU on the underside of the batten. See video on How to use page
